Kellogg Forest Invasive Species Workshop
Join us for a workshop on identifying and managing the invasive species that impact our local landscapes. We will discuss effective control strategies to help you protect native habitats and improve the overall health and resilience of your property and our region.
The session also highlights the technical guidance and financial assistance programs available to landowners. Learn how to access these professional resources and cost-share opportunities to support your conservation efforts and long-term stewardship goals.

Tyden Park Rain Garden Installation
Join the Barry Conservation District and Thornapple River Watershed Council as we install two new rain gardens in the Thornapple River Watershed! This is a volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in native plants, native landscaping techniques, and stormwater pollution reduction. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt if they sign up.
T-shirts are first come, first served until gone.

Plant Sale Pickup
Fall is a great time to plant natives! Over winter these plants will focus on root growth to bring you beautiful blooms in 2025. Choose plants based on your properties available sun and soil moisture, bloom color and period.
Native plants require less watering, filter pollutants, provide habitat and food for wildlife and pollinators, and stabilize soil with their extensive root systems. You can read more about the benefits of native plants here.
Order your native grasses, wildflowers, and select shrubs now then schedule your pickup between August 22-23, 9am - 5pm and August 24, 9am - 12pm.
