Join the Barry Conservation District and Thornapple River Watershed Council as we install two new rain gardens in the Thornapple River Watershed! This is a volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in native plants, native landscaping techniques, and stormwater pollution reduction. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt if they sign up. T-shirts are first come, first served until gone.
Volunteers will help to dig, spread mulch, and plant native wildflower and grasses.
The garden will be located on the West side of the park along the trail next to the Riverwalk where the bridge goes over the Thornapple River, circled in yellow on the map.
