Join the Thornapple River Watershed Council for a tie dye party at the Caledonia Harvest Festival Saturday, September 26th from 10am - 2pm!
Visit our table to learn about current and future projects the watershed council is working on, grab some TRWC swag, tie dye your own TRWC shirt, and enjoy some snacks!
You may be wondering, why aren’t we having a clean up this year?
We are switching to only having a clean up every other year because THERE JUST ISN'T ENOUGH TRASH!
This is a GREAT problem to have. Now we can focus on ENJOYING the river and working to improve it in other ways.
We will be hosting a table at the Caledonia Harvest Festival from 10am - 2pm at the Caledonia Community Green Park, 6260 92nd St SE, Caledonia, MI 49316. Come and see how YOU can get involved with the watershed council. Either way, be sure to stop by to pick up your FREE Thornapple River T-shirt and join us for the tie-dye party! We will have everything you need to make your TRWC shirt a one of a kind masterpiece. We will also have snacks and other cool TRWC swag for everyone!
*Optional* Paddle Trip on the Thornapple River
We are encouraging people to take a relaxing trip down the Thornapple River this weekend as well. You will need to BYOB (Bring your own BOAT) or visit one of the liveries along the river. Feel free to grab a bag for trash if you do happen to see any along your paddle and let us know about your trip down the river for an extra gift when you stop by our table at the Caledonia Harvest Festival!
